Global structure of the project,
partner interactions and specialities
Development and implementation of the various technical fields will be placed under the responsibility of the best available specialists in their respective areas.
- Organic synthesis activities will be coordinated by C. Schofield
(Partner 12). - Protein crystallography will be coordinated by A. Dessen (Partner 5).
- Protein purification and enzymology will be coordinated by J.-M. Frère (Partner 1)
- NMR studies will be under the responsibility of J.-P. Simorre
(Partner 10). - Phage display will be developed in collaboration between B. Joris (Partner 1) and V. Sakanyan (Partner 16).
- Molecular modeling and inhibitor design will be coordinated by M. Field (Partner 10) and A. Thomas.
- Molecular biology, a field which is already well mastered by many of the partners and concerns all the WPs, will be coordinated by T. Vernet (Partner 5) but his role will mainly consist in centralizing the questions about technical difficulties and to disseminate these questions in order to obtain tentative solutions from other laboratories. Work in this area is already underway in several of the participating laboratorie
